Although I was away on business for seven days and exceeded my RDI and carbs a little, I stayed with the healthy foods and exercise. This may be the first time I have actually lost weight while away from home!

Over eight days, I averaged 1325 calories and 36 total carbs per day. Not too shabby.
193.2 lb Lost so far: 49.8 lb.    Still to go: 33.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

It's not always necessarily the amount of calories (within reason), but the choice of foods.

I hope I can do something similar...I'm off to Pittsburgh this week for work for 3 days. 3 days of eating out and sitting around. I hope I can keep the eating under control and get some exercise time in!

@Aggie95: The best plan is to bring food and snacks with you that are part of your program, and to research the venue at which you will stay for a fitness center.

Excellent! I hope there's a decent fitness center where I'm going in Sunriver next week. I plan on taking homemade bread, granola, healthy cookies, unsweetened coconut milk, almond butter...thank goodness we're staying in a condo/timeshare!
