I am alive again gang! My Thursday / Friday 29 hour work shift kicked my backside, but I felt I needed to be there for my people. So I stayed, talked to them about their fears, my fears, & what we need to do to get from were we are to were we want to be. Damn! Sounds a lot like losing weight, so you guys prepared me for that moment as well. On to today. I have awoken from my marathon sleep generated from my marathon work week & am ready to get on getting back up this mountain. Today is a day made for being tenaciously positive. I've read a lot of journal entries this morning about a lot of my teammates out there having some struggles this week. I want me & you to get ahead of the darkness & be the light, for ourselves & more importantly our co-climbers. Be brightness. Be the positivity that takes over the crevices before the dark can get a foothold. Be the gravity that holds someone on course. Be the compassion that pulls a lost souls on to your path & share it until they are strong enough to find their own. We can do this. We choose to do this. We climb this mountain because it's here to climb. We climb this mountain because there are rewards at the peak, both mental & physical. We do this because it is hard. And at the end of the journey, we will know we can do anything because we did this. This fight can be our defining moment. Anyone who knows us; will know we are tough, we are a band of doers, & we can do anything, because we conquered this "thing" that destroys many people. We refuse to let our weight break us, so we broke the weight. Get out there & make things happen according to your plan today gang. Let your corner of the world know, this is your planet & everybody else is just paying rent.

Thank you Jonathan!!!!! MOST,of your posts, if not ALL can be applied to HEALTH (i.e.weight loss), WORK,Spending TOO MUCH time ONLINE )FB,games,ect.) AND Anything with which we struggle...Climbing with YOU and all other FS Buddies, today...I'M roped in with our group....So we HAVE to CLIMB TOGETHER!!! Apparently I'm encouraging/inspiring others. I'm nowhere close to done, but I look better, healthier, happier. We don't know what affect we're having on others so we should always try to be our best selves. Onward and upward with a positive attitude.
