I am not logging the extra 5 pounds that I gained..... it was actually a few more but I got rid of some of it.... the weight thing is tricky because so many things can affect your weight. things that cause weight to go up: pms, carbs, heavy exercise, muscle gain..... anyway, my big fat belly and bulging thighs say to watch it!!!! I am trying to

1 - drink my water!!!! (behind today)

2 - eat 1 fish meal / day (and less red meat / meat) fish helps me....

3 - eat a fage every day. it's very filling and high protein.....

that's all for now. uuuugh i hate tracking my food. but it really does help. but if you look at my log, I don't add in the veggies all the time. it's too tedious for me. Ideally several many cups of veggies per day........

vegetarian friends: I don't know how you do it! I guess I try to stay low carb so that and vegetarian probably don't work together so well; for now I'll try for high protein / low carb........

Tulip, I average my weight over a week. That way the little ups and downs aren't reflected. I don't know how a vegetarian can do low carb very easily. I have many meatless days and my carbs are higher but those days my calories are generally lower.

I encourage folks NOT to obsess about weight and/or scales...The scales are just ONE tool of many. And this whole journey is NOT about the exact weight any way, its about a healthy life. So I salute you for your progress to date AND for picking your plan. Now to wish you a weekend filled with Less stress, more rest, healthy choices AND affirming people. Warmest FS Regards!!
