MY BUTT HURTS!!!!

Before you post a smart ass joke, I did squats and lunges during commercials last night while I was watching TV. I had done this before but I watched a couple of hours last night, American Idol and some cop show, and have not done this at every commercial.

I could barely walk down the stairs this morning. I think adding the dumbbell weight really did it.

I didn't lose weight and didn't gain either so that was positive.
212.2 lb Lost so far: 56.8 lb.    Still to go: 47.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow--what a great idea! I need to do this! The ladies at work were doing the squat challange. I did good (I did mine at home), but then towards the end messed up. I started over, but it just didn't "take." LOL. I think something that isn't regimented is better for me to begin with. I'm so busy right now!

I know ClassicRocker. Just waiting for a few of you smart asses to comment! Lol. You know when you are texting someone and had a typo? And you didn't notice until you had sent it? I always say I was talking into my phone and the auto spell put in the wrong thing. ;)

This is the first time I had done lower body exercises like this. Believe me, by the end of the second TV show, you are saying, "Oh nooooo...another @%$&*@ commercial! Lol. But it's way better than sitting on your butt don't you think?

Oh yes! Squats with weights work the gluteus muscles for sure!

I remember the first time I seriously did a proper leg workout. I completely overdid it and wasn't able to sit without discomfort for around 2 weeks due to the muscle soreness. The fear I have to try another leg workout is real, LOL.

Butt jokes aside :) I think it is awesome that you did those exercises and at every commercial break! I tape my shows so I don't have to see the commercials. The food commercials especially. Hope that body part is feeling by now!
