TheKarenS's Journal, 10 April 2015

I actually saw 150.6 yesterday, but I ate salty food last night, so I'm back up.

After my little YOLO adventure, and the subsequent pity party, I was up to 158.6. Seriously. I was so bloated and miserable. but I decided Tuesday afternoon that I wasn't waiting any longer - I would start that evening with a low carb supper. I made Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls - So good! In fact, it was so good that that's all I had the next day (I know, I have eating issues, but it was healthy food). I literally lost 7+ lbs in a day and half. I felt SO much better (aside from the actual process of 'losing' that weight. Think 'Atkins Flu').

So im eating healthy, my head is on straight, I didn't inflict too much of a setback, and all is well.

Carry on, good people.

Great job! I was thinking of trying the unstuffed cabbage rolls one day with ground turkey. I'll have to use ground beef for hubby and daughter because they refuse to eat ground turkey. It takes getting used to! I'm still off of meat, but I plan on cheating (yes, plan--LOL) once in a while on the weekend by having ground turkey :)
