I'm having an extremely hard time cutting caffeine out of my diet during induction. I feel like it serves as my "dessert" and kinda of fills me up. I know that it is dehydrating me and forcing me to up my water intake. Atkins says to avoid coffee in this phase, and I am also wasting carbs on creamer.
anyone go through the same thing? any advice?

I loved my morning coffee. I don't like artificial sweeteners, so I tried coffee with cream only. It was okay for a while, but the cream was wasting my carbs, so I just gave it up. I do indulge occasionally ;) Sometimes I'll have tea, but most of the time I just drink lemon water.

I can't give coffee up. It's one thing I have to have. I'll give my one/two glasses of wine up before coffee!

I never gave up coffee on atkins - and have had success long term with it. I drink it black or with cream depending on the rest of my food plan... and always drink water all day long! Good luck!
