PRIDE WAS AMAZING. God im just so happy that the law passed for gay marriage in New York. I am seriously overjoyed that people are finally understanding that the LGBTQ community deserves the same rights as everyone else. Sadly the gf could not make it but i was able to chill with amazing friends and participate in a great pride parade. Somehow magically i was able to avoid drama even though i had an ex there. Go figure. Regardless it was a blast and I ate suprisingly ok. Walked a ton! so essentially i most likely burnt it all off. I have no idea to be honest and im totally ok with that. I know my limits now and i dont overeat. I am starting to eat slower so i can realize when im full.

Funny story. I have decided to stop drinking but my cousin offered me beer and i was like....well what the heck. I drank less than a 1/4 of it and then i realized why i hate alcohol. I danced my ass off at the concert i was ate and then had an awesome dinner with a friend and tasty hookah.

This weekend was not about food, it was about enjoying life and knowing your limits. Your worst enemy is yourself. When you stop to think about yourself and what you have overcome then give yourself a pat on the back. I could've easily eaten ridiculous crap all day but i didnt and ate what was necessary and had a blast with friends. I couldnt ask for anything more.

Back to the diet and working out again. Already had my cardio in the morning and i'll lift in the afternoon. Gonna start jiu jitsu this Saturday!! Can't wait!

Saw some pictures of the parade by someone who lives there. What a fantastic show of solidarity. I think this will happen here soon as well! I like your statement, "This weekend was not about food, it was about enjoying life and knowing your limits. Your worst enemy is yourself." I was just telling another buddy pretty much the same thing! I thought you already did some martial arts. Do you have several classes all week long?
