newnormal's Journal, 30 March 2015

OK, I did not do well this weekend. I had basically no water which is a huge issue in itself and always pumps up the weight for me. Friday, I had worked so hard with work and school and I WANTED fast food so bad I decided to mitigate the bad and go to the grocery instead to pick up something I'd go out for dinner for. Ended up with chicken, greek yogurt, tortilla chips (wanted salty) and shortbread cookies and a movie. Figured that would be the end of it. Yeah..no. Overslept Sat, still no water, LOTS of math but did manage to get my bathroom cleaned (thank God) and rewarded myself with a movie. And peanutbutter. And tortilla chips. And no real food during the day except greek yogurt.

Well, the greek yogurt is gone. The Peanutbutter is hidden in the back of the pantry along with the chips. I still have 2 eggs and some bacon left so that will start me out until I go to the store at lunch for something good for me. Was supposed to do that yesterday but just didn't happen.

I have one goal for today (since I can't seem to balance too much at a time lol) and that is to get my water back to normal (2 brita pitchers, 1 gallon). Everything else goes well when I do that so that will be my focus. And get rid of the freakin callus on my left foot so I can walk again :/

Have a great day!

Cat, I agree. Balancing has never been easy but I gave it all back this weekend. Time to grab it again.

Forget those gmo cornchips! Try making cheese chips with salt on them. Use 1-4 oz of thin sliced/or grated real cheese, place on an oiled glass plate, microwave for 3-4 minutes until almost brown, peel cheese off the plate with a butter knife, salt them, let cool, voila salty protein snack! Good calcium, only about 4-5 carbs.
