Me too, but don't question your motivation because you're right on track. You're going to have "bad' days (well, they aren't really bad, but a release day--LOL). Mine didn't show up the next day, but it did today. I'm not worrying about it. I'm doing the right things and the best I can do. Today, I'm at work, so it will be easier. Keep up the good work, I know you care or you wouldn't be on here! :)

I spent the weekend with a migraine so food wasn't the issue, but keeping something down and dehydration. Spring is coming - with it the sunshine and better spirits all around. This is a tough time of year for many people (me!). I am just ready for the winter doldrums to be done and to be able to go outside again without being either wet or cold! Positive thoughts coming your way!

Some days (and weekends) are better than others...l am confident you still care...WHY? Because you are STILL here ...AND you are STILL making HONEST journal posts. A "reflective"Monday will go a long way toward putting you "back in the saddle." Plz feel welcome to PM me if you need to "vent". Your buddies are HERE for you. :)

Jillzee - Thanks. And yes, work does tend to keep us out of the kitchen :)

It's not that we don't care. We've just been on this trip for so long, and we're tired.

if it makes you feel better I fluffed off tues and wednesday last week bc i wanted to go to happy hour so I didnt work out either day for obvious reason and it threw the rest of my week off. it was a domino effect. Didnt eat enough veggies or water and did the bare minimum at the gym BUT I knew I needed to get off my butt and hit it hard these last two days diet wise. My philosophy is if you fall off the wagon, just get back on!! every one deserves a bad day now and then !! Today is a new day ! I love what SuccessThisTime said also.. at least your honest about it ! hang in there. It can only get better from here..

Classic - Yes, it does seem like a long journey. And the scenery starts looking the same after a while doesn't it?

Take your time I had to do the exact same thing :)

Redgirl - Great advice to get back on the wagon before that domino effect becomes overwhelming.

John Denver said it well - "Some days are diamonds, some days are stone". We all have bad days and yes sometimes the journey we're on is tiring. Leave the stones behind...make today a diamond if you can. :)

BuffyBear, I can totally empathize. It helped to read what others posted. Have a good day and a good week! I don't think you have given up, you just hit a bump in the road.

After much searching, I found that two things motivate me. If I die, who will take care of my children? Early, this year, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and suddenly, it was easy to stay low-carb. Not everyone needs low-carb, but I do, and it has helped keep my numbers steady and in range without drugs.

Buffy - it is hard if your DH is not on board, too. Do it for you and your own future self.

Marie - I just have to have these talks with myself every now and then. I do it publicly to keep it honest. You have a great week too!

Moons - Very glad that you stay on track. Hope your children appreciate it as well.
