TxJ713's Journal, 27 March 2015

I don't know what happened...I was doing good, then gained a job, lost it. Tried to quite smoking again, which meant lots of munching. 😧 I gotta lose weight. I start a new waitress gig in a few weeks, so I'm hoping with that and now that the weather is nicer I can play disc golf again, so between that and with trying to get myself back on track with counting all my shit...I should hopefully start losing weight again soon. I've already cut out pop, went to straight black coffee now, switched to Monster Zero (cuz I still needs it in my life lol). I'm trying, it's all a process. Just don't know what happened that I gained so much weight...well, yeah. During the timeframe I had work I was eating a lot of fast food. That's a major issue I need to stop going for. No more fast food!!!

From someone who worked four years serving at Red Robin (read "bottomless fries and ranch that should be illegal its so addictive"), I completely feel your pain. You're on the right track, recognizing the potholes looming ahead in the road. Now to avoid 'em ;)

I'm gonna try! I'm tired of going up and down and up and down lol. Just gotta keep in the routine of tracking everything each day. That's where I tend to drop off and gain again is when I don't count. 😳 Go figure lol. So I just gotta make sure to stick to it completely lol.

Yep Im hearing you ...I put on a good twenty plus lbs. since around my birthday last Oct 31st, its Halloween and all the candy and then all the holidays came next and I just ate and ate and ate and before I knew it there it was... a huge weight gain. I hoping to have learned something this year by being here and not repeat myself lol

Thanks, I'm noticing I have a definite problem with carbs lol. Trying to get more healthy proteins in my life. I can't keep repeating this cycle either, I need to keep track of my health to get better. I became lax for a while and suddenly no clothes fit! 😲 So definitely gonna be working on keep track of whatever I can lol. Thanks again!

Keep that food log! Even when it is painful to fill in those less than ideal choices, I find that it helps me so much. Good luck to you.
