I missed out on Frittata Friday, this past weekend, being busy with church activities, and instead pan grilled a couple of hot dogs. The actual cook time was probably about the same, but the prep time was as simple as throwing them in the pan, and I wasn't in the mood to do much more than that; I'd had a busy week. I guess the good news is, I didn't decide to just go and buy a pizza. A new week, and another Frittata Friday on the way, and I'm already considering what to put in it. My sister gave me a gadget, yesterday, called a Veggetti, which is a spiral vegetable cutter, cutting veggies such as zucchini into julienne strips. Some bacon, or ham, a little garlic and some cheese and my next frittata will be delicious. Have a great week everyone. :-)

Hey, nothing wrong with pizza, just don't eat the crust ;) I usually put the pizza toppings on a salad :D

LambiePi - I'm a pizza freak, if I have one it's going to have a garlic buttered crust, which begs to be eaten. However, putting the toppings on a salad is a great idea, thanks. Carol - spicy ham and havarti cheese sound like great additions to a frittata; I may have to give that a try, along with the zucchini; gotta have my veggies. :-)

Keep missing you on here - so wanted to wish you good luck with your pizza cravings. BTW - I owe you a thanks. DH had decided that he likes frittata for breakfast so that is now our Sunday breakfast. If it hadn't of been your Friday Special I never would have thought to make it for him.

Thanks, and you're welcome Buffy; I would be making them myself, on Sunday mornings, but since I started serving in the TV Ministry, at my church, I haven't had to make breakfast on Sundays. Those folks like to eat, and we always seem to have a bit of a breakfast buffet going on before the service starts, and finishes up after the service is over; though very little is left by the time we get back up to the control room area. :-)
