I spent some time this weekend planning and shopping to start Atkins today. I have a couple days of meals planned and some food prepped. I bought a bunch of those snack baggies and put vegetable servings in them and marked on the outside how carbs in each packet. I'm going to do the same with chicken breasts once I get them portioned.

Also got some prepared meals, snack bars and shakes for those times when I'm on the run.

I'm feeling pretty good about this. I'm also meeting my sister at the gym on Monday and Fridays. Feeling pretty darn positive!

You can do this. It sounds like you've got a great plan ahead of you. Just a heads up on the quick stuff it can sometimes cause stalls and cravings.

Yes, I think I've got it. Like I said, "today" I'm feeling really positive. And I'll keep the Atkins quick stuff to no more than 2 a day. It's really for those times when I don't have a chance to pre-cook stuff that I really like. I love to cook, but sometimes I just don't have the time. When I do, I cook enough for a few meals.

I can't say enough about Atkins, how great it is. I lost 8 pounds in 12 days following induction. I'm staying on induction longer. Just follow the plan as outlined and good luck

It sounds like your ready. I'm a Atkins follower for life. I finally feel I know how to lose weight and keep it off. Good luck on your journey and don't forget to ask for help if you need it.
