On OWL phase now, hope I start seeing better results

Mary - you really are doing a great job! It is very common when you do not have a huge amount of weight to lose, for your body to take it's sweet time in making this adjustment. And while you may have been hoping for that 'initial' loss to be larger... that is just not practical when you only have a smaller amount of weight to lose to begin with. You are easily averaging a pound a week, and that is actually a very reasonable, and profitable steady pace!!! There is no reason to feel like you want to see 'better' results...as it won't likely get too much better than that. Keeping it steady, week in and week out, is what you can be working towards. You seem to be making really good food choices. (watch the atkins bars, they can stall out some people. you may not have a problem w/ them... or you may... may be fine now... but affect you in weeks to come... so just keep an eye on your progress w/ eating them.) Keep up w/ your water daily. And be sure to review the Atkins protocols for OWL. Start w/ adding more veggies. Go slow. Watch each item. This is a learning experience for a lifetime change. Not a race. Not a 'diet'... but a change you can live with to last. YOU are doing just fine... Much Love.
