I have reached my lowest weight since I started this journey. One more pound I will be at my lowest weight since I was 22 years old. It's now 36 years later!! I love when people tell me they can't do something i.e. quit smoking, diet, exercise (anything to improve health) I can always say look!!! If I who am nobody special can quit smoking after 35 years, loose over 200 pounds, and walk 4+ miles a day then so can you...

Anyway I am feeling good about my accomplishments, it is certainly the hardest most challenging thing I have ever had to do. Everyday is about the choices I will make, moreover, every hour on some days...

Until I really understood that a lifestyle change was mandatory and that no excuses for harming myself with un-nutritional/processed foods was eminent I was just spinning my wheels and really didn't have a clue.

In order to be truly healthy and fit you have to eat whole foods with live enzymes, drink pure water, and exercise. There is no magic bullet, no secret cure, no pill, no surgery, there is a mindset that entails hard work and perseverance and for the compulsive overeater it is a life time of commitment.
136.8 lb Lost so far: 10.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow, you have every right to be proud of yourself. I'm printing your log and putting it on my bulletin board. I absolutely love it! Congrats

NowIunderstand... Thank you for your very sweet and kind comment. You too are doing fantastic and I promise you if you stick with it no matter how long it takes you will succeed! There are literally weeks when I will maintain the same low calorie count, do the same amount of exercise and not loose anything... Oh how frustrating, and, sooo disappointing, but I tell myself that no matter what it takes I've got this and no matter what, I will not give up ever! I am determined to live a healthy fit life and that means I am going to have to take care of myself, eat wisely and possibly count calories for the rest of my life, and exercise on a schedule. I know that there will be trials and pitfalls but I know good health is going to trump eating unsoundly. So as I continue this journey which for all intents and purposes will undoubtedly last the rest of my life I know that the reward of a healthy mind and body will make it all worth while.
