It's been a week since I showed any movement, so this drop of over half a pound is gratifying. I wish I understood why my weight plateaus in this way for a week at a time. It's an odd pattern: a week of weight loss followed by a week of stagnation. I'm glad to see that I've dropped the half pound, but it is a bit frustrating to see my weight moving at a rate that would take me two years to reach my goal! Still, movement's movement.

This drop takes me under the 50 lbs to go mark at long last. That's a significant benchmark. When I started, with 216 (well, 212 originally) pounds to get rid of, that seemed like an insuperable mountain to climb. Now, what I've got is more a low range of hills. I have actually crossed over the hardest part of the process without realizing it. I've lost 43.8% of my original weight. That's actually a lot. That I still have a way to go, to lose another 13.15%, is still going to take an effort, no denying it, but I will get there.
213.6 lb Lost so far: 123.4 lb.    Still to go: 45.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Looking fantastic in your new photo! I've been checking your progress from early on in your journey, and you have done remarkably well. I know you're a little disappointed by how slow things are going now, and I've also been in a frustrating plateau. But I am trying to come to terms with perhaps not being able to lose any more than I have. Maybe it's all excess skin weight, and I'm going to be okay with it because I feel so much better than I did this time last year. Just keep doing what you're doing and so will I!

Thanks for both your comments. What I've got left is mostly fat. It's taking a devilish long time to go. Some may be excess skin. That, I suspect I will have to come to terms with, but I don't think it will amount to that much in total weight. Thanks for the compliments.

I know...sometimes it can be so slow but as long as you are doing the right things and you know you are...it will happen..Me on the other hand is definitely going the wrong way..in little bits but still the wrong way. I am getting my act together this week for sure. Happy Monday!!
