i find it amazing that i have not had heartburn since i began Atkins. I used to think i was lactose intorlerant, but i have heavy cream with no heartburn at all. it must have been the carbs that caused it. Amazing!

I used to get heartburn/acid reflux frequently. I was overindulging CONSTANTLY, like, I'd eat until I was stuffed every day. I think being more aware of what I was eating and when to stop (i.e. when I'm not hungry any more rather than WAY too full) helped reduce that for me.
