My disaster continues! I don't know what is going on with me but it is as if I am losing control of my eating habits!!! Again for the last 3 days I have been totally unable to control my eating habits. I haven't been sleeping either, which I have been told over and over again is linked to weight control. I am thinking there is something physically, mentally, or medically, wrong. Today I am going to try again to see if I can do it. if I go down (or up as the case may be ) I am going fighting all the way!!!

I bet it is the lack of sleep making you wonky. I have read it can play havoc with cravings and hormones that curb hunger.

It's the poor sleep. Lack of sleep can result in your brain craving junk and lots of it as it scrambles for fast energy. The lack of sleep also lowers inhibitions and crushes our better thinking lines. Get some sleep. Melatonin helps with sleep; I found a bottle at Big Lots for 3 bucks.

6 small meals a day 2-300 calories each and high protein worked for me Skydiver, I been trying for close to 3 years to lose weight, but until now, I have not been successful. Reading your posts brought me some flashbacks. I never could sleep on a empty stomach, so I would consume prbably 2-3 servings of cereal prior to sleeping, even wake up in the middle of the night starving, raid the fridge and go back to sleep, only to wake up really sluggish and hungry. Yea, flashbacks. I been doing body for life, check it out if you like, since December, and dropped close to 20 so far. Feel good, inches matter more than weight. Good Luck, hope all works out!! PS- I may have to change my name soon to Thinbastard....

Have you been able to get any exercise? That might help you tire out so you can get some sleep. Good luck to you. I hope you can find your way back to your path soon. :)

Yes, the poor sleep I think is at the root cause. Exercise has been difficult, izzy when you feel like a walking zombie. I think this is where I need to focus my efforts; to get some good quality sleep. So this is what I am going to do tonight - do all the right things prior to going to bed so I am relaxed and ready to sleep.
