This is actually my third day on my new low-fat diet ordered by my physician, and so far I'm really liking it. I've lost 6 pounds in 3 days. I don't expect it to go that fast for long, but it's an encouraging start.
I was diagnosed with NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) but there is no scarring and if I can stick to this diet, I'm confident I can get my liver back to normal or at least better off than I am now.
I've been telling all my food cravings and temptations that they have no power over me and that's working. I guess because I really don't want to think any food has power over me - how could it?
