So happy to see some progress. I finally feel like I'm getting back into the zone. Eating has been MUCH easier to control. I'm still not down to the 1200 calories very often if ever, but I'm staying below 2000 usually, so that's good. Hoping to get back to regular Zumba this next week. This week's schedule is still a little hectic, so just trying to keep moving for now.
267.9 lb Lost so far: 44.1 lb.    Still to go: 27.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Look at you lady, almost 4 lbs down in a week?? You ARE in the zone! I hope 1200 isn't your target, is it? That's pretty low. Besides, you seem to be losing plenty fast at your current level. If you go too low you won't leave any room to decrease your calories later if you hit a stall. Glad to see it's going well!

Thanks Kat! 1200 is a target and the absolute bottom. I find that if I float around there up to about 1800 I can sustain pretty consistent weight loss. I try not to keep it exactly the same, that brought on a stall last summer. But as long as I keep it moving, up, down but in that range it seems to work. It feels good to be getting back on track. I also find that now it's almost more about moving more than it is about eating less, though I need to do that at times. We've learned some great skills this last year! It's great to finally be back to putting them all to use. Got released by the surgeon on Monday! The knee is still getting stronger, dr said that will continue up to 1 yr. But last time I tried Zumba there were only a couple of moves that required modification! It's a great feeling. It's been a VERY long road, but I can honestly say at this point it was totally worth it. I had NO idea just how much my knee had been holding me back. It's like a new lease on an active life I'd like to have for me and for my kids. Good luck with the scale and those crazy batteries. Hope Healthybabs is right about the sudden weight loss for you! ;-)
