Just had fast food for the first time in months.. And I feel so bad after figuring out my calorie in take .. I am on a strict 1000-1200 calorie diet and I just passed that with just my lunch from eating out!!! I feel disgusting and I have let myself down.. I am down 21lbs because I am strict with myself and right now I feel like a just threw it all away with this bad choice I have made... Feeling really depressed right now.

Where does my self control go??? feeling Dumb.

Awww. Now that you've blown it, own it and move on. One time is not going to keep you down! Put on your tennis shoes and hit the floor and have a good time working off the salt, fat and calories. Then shut the door and move on.

Don't feel bad, you made one choice. You've done good so far and deserve to have a cheat day. Going over one day won't hurt you or your weight loss.

One meal and one bad choice doesn't make you fat, it makes you human. Just "own it" (like someone in another journal said) and move on. You aren't going to spend the rest of your life never eating out, so it's good to learn how to do it and get back on plan.

Maybe it'll help but when you, I say, I should buy this and that from the grocery store but really had in mind something sugary... I normally wait for my boyfriend (because he keeps those things off the cart. So try to understand yourself more and you know, even if you feel depressed, don't think about the weight to lose but more like... oh yeah, I totally forgot about wiping off the floor for example. You know, just something else than food. I do this, and for now, it's working. You never know lol

One slip doesn't make a failure, just climb back on the wagon... you were just shocking your system to lose more lol

Agreed, move on....a treat every few months is not an awful thing as long as it doesn't become a habit...some nutritionists recommend a high calorie day every couple of weeks when dieting, perhaps this will spark your metabolism :)

No way... down 21 lbs is a great accomplishment! I agree that a treat every couple of months is good for the soul... :)
