Up early this morning! Didn't even need an alarm clock because my sense of purpose jolted me up after 6 am. I am up and at 'em now. Trying to find my footing with this new, unstructured work situation. I have started by reaching out to my network and building some alliances with people that could provide advice for me as I put together this new Business Development Plan for my company. In the meantime, still researching to see the best approach - I have to get a draft together for discussion on Wednesday.

TOM arrived after a four month hiatus ... enough said.

On the diet front, I still have a close focus on my low carb approach. I need to update my food from yesterday since I made some changes in what I actually ate. My food choices are simple and boring but it keeps me in line right now - and I still have those Winter hibernating genes on overdrive, so I have to watch what goes into my mouth as it seem to settle in "parts unknown" as extra poundage. I was just saying to my sister last night that the Winter months are lethal for me. Inertia sets in and seem to grow as the weather gets colder and my home gets encased in a permafrost of sorts! It's harder to get out and be active as I have a mental allergy to Winter that kicks in after December. I have not found the antidote for it as yet. But ..... Spring is around the corner and I am unthawing now. Next Sunday we 'spring forward' with Daylight Savings Time - that is always a sure sign of Spring (hate losing the hour but love the fact that there is more sunlight). I will be more buoyant as the inertia lifts. In the meantime, I am coasting!
