Arrived in Queenstown, New Zealand on February 23 and will be here until April 8, then back to Tokyo. The most beautiful place I have ever visited. It will be too difficult to input my daily eating so this will be an experiment and I will just try to watch my eating and exercise. I have been doing a great deal of mountaineering and some very intense hikes, so I think my calorie output is greater than my intake. I also don't have a scale at the house I'm staying at so I will go "scale-free" for the next 7 weeks. It will be very interesting to see what my weight will be when I get on the scale in April. It is also somewhat liberating to try this new approach and to see what happens.
