ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

day 1 - ate a salad for lunch with a sugar free maple groves farm salad dressing very good...lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sunflower nuts, and emerils salad toppers...

dinner was grilled fish topped with capers, tumeric, garlic, evoo,...brussel sprouts steamed with garlic, pine nuts, salt and pepper (i ate 3 of them) not bad could do them again...

day 2 - salad for lunch again...good - did not get home until after 8 so dinner was a couple of frozen pizza's...mine was a thin crust margarita pizza and clints was a loaded rising crust whopper of a pizza...so day two would be a bust...

day 3 - today should be ok...i have chicken salad with wasa crackers, tomatoes and a peach for lunch and then dinner will be the cabbage, onion, garlic, evoo combo with turkey kiaboska (sp?) sausage for dinner...

I guess the "Attack Of The Veggies" takes some getting used to. Rome wasn't built in a day! I must say, though, that for someone not fond of veggies, brussell sprouts would be one of the last ones I would think you'd pick! They need to be cooked very precisely to be anything but repulsive. What about green or yellow beans? Brocolli? Carrots? Best of luck for day 3 and beyond!

i am kinda cheating a little...i did that 30 days of eating a new untried veggie last year as part of a challenge...and brussel sprouts were one that i could tolerate fairly well...the green beans, carrots, zucchini, coliflower and brocolli are out...lol...we have peas in the garden and fresh straight off the vine they are ok...doable...and when the peppers bloom i will have 18 different peppers to choose from...during the 30 challenge i learned that asaparagus, brussel sprouts, most if not all peppers, egg plant, speghetti squash, are ok...humm...will have to go find my old journals and see what i recorded that i liked...HEY WHAT A BRILLANT IDEA...lol at myself

I was going to suggest having broccoli but I see you don't like that! I had the BEST brussel sprouts at a restaurant I went to for my birthday. I think they were topped with breadcrumbs or something. Delicious! Way to go with all the veggie eating though. Your meals sound so tasty!

LOL, veggies! All of the veggies you like are typically the ones that most people hate! You must have had your veggie-gene installed backwards... heheheh. However, I like all those veggies plus most others as well.

One of my favorite things to eat is Brussel sprouts, and artichokes and other veggies. Good luck experimenting with veggies. My husband who hates zucchini actually like my zucchini lasagna. Made similar to regular but instead of pasta use thinly sliced zucchini. He literally is anti-zuch anything but this he ate half the pan.

I know, Evelyn! I agree. Brussel sprouts especially! That was my first time having them (with the breadcrumbs) and I loved them, but I KNOW that's not how they taste on their own!
