Good Afternoon, FS Warriors! Not much happening in my neck of the woods. I thought I had better check in before somebody gets to thinking I don't care about you guys anymore. I'm trying to be an efficient worker, and only log on here at lunchtime. That is, unless of course, I have so much to eat at lunch that I don't have time. LOL! I'm a fast eater; that's one of my problems.
Anyway, I shaved my beard off; DW wanted to start seeing other men, and this was the best I could do. It didn't help, so I'm growing it back. It's loss didn't show up on the scale anyway. I've holding one more practice tonight before we kick off the revival of our nursing home visits. You really are lucky to get in 10 songs in the hour they give you. We are ready to perform 15 just in case, but we allow ourselves some time for going out an greeting each of them. We'll play for about 40 minutes; let the Pastor talk for about 10 minutes and then close with a song or two. We do some country, rock, hymns, and contemporary stuff, but I try to stay away from the sex, drugs and drinking themes; after all, it is kind of followed by a devotional and encouragement talk.
I gave Mack a bone last night that was the size of a caveman's club. It's the first time he ever had something left over the next morning. He's a glutton. Well, that's about it. Hope everyone has a wonamous day! Toodles!

I've never seen my husband without a beard. Maybe I should tell him I want to see other men? Nah, he might just take me up on it! Lol! Your nursing home visits sound fun. I hope you enjoy them as much as it sounds like you do.

So are you saying DW is still seeing other men??? Too funny you are. I can multitask... journal and eat. Perhaps that's my problem.

Awesome that you are playing music. Did I ever tell you I am a classically trained musician and used to play professionally? I am in my "second" career in life now.

Wow, HCB, you amaze me! Do you still play? What instrument? I am a novice, so I just sing louder. Bells, I believe you; I think you are always doing something. Take a nap for heaven's sake. Everybody said I would look younger with a beard. I do. But I haven't got time for all those cougars! LOL!

I would expect you might cut the beard in warmer weather :) I bet you do look younger! Regardlesss, all women go nuts for a musician, plus you are a biker! And a dog lover! DW probably keeps her eye on you. By the way, cougars are women who go for younger men. I have been (playfully, I hope)been accused of that :) You probably have young chicks scoping you out now!!

Haha, Kattay! Something happened somewhere along this journey we call life; I find myself more attracted to more mature women. Don't tell DW I said that; I guess I'm not supposed to be attracted to women at all. But then again, I'm certainly not going to be attracted to men. :D
