Day 5...and I discover my scale is crap. Seriously. My weight has been hanging at basically the starting point all week, this morning I step on the scale and it's the same. Then I step off, and back on...I've lost 2.5 lbs. I do it again...it's still down 2.5. I think I need to buy a new scale when I go out to buy groceries today...but I think a 2.5 loss is probably pretty accurate, given it's the first week and I've kept close tabs on my calorie intake. I have a doctor's appt this morning, will see what I weigh in his office. For food...having my standby, oatmeal cooked in milk, for breakfast. For lunch, I think I may have no choice but a personal pizza at an entertainment/game center we're going to, but should only be about 500 calories, so I can make it work. Dinner I will figure out on the fly....probably either fish or chicken.
