I can't exercise and need help! I sliced my knee open yesterday with a Swiss army knife when I was trying to open my label maker. It cut through my clothes and make this incredibly bloody gash and I can't bike or do anything that involves bending my knee or it busts open. I probably needed stitches but can't afford another dr visit. Anyway, any ideas for what I can do for a couple days until it heals a bit. I wouldn't worry about it if it was just a little bit of blood but it's gushing. Big time. Also I slipped up on my diet. I was craving food so bad and my stomach kept growling so I ate some carmel corn rice cakes with a piece of dark chocolate. At 330 am! My daughter woke up at 3 and couldn't go back to sleep and I kept getting hungrier. I was going to eat one piece but of course I ended up eating 2. I ate some last night too. It's that time of the month and I know that's no excuse but until I committed to changing my lifestyle, I would eat so much junk and blame it on my hormones. Now I know how to control myself a little more but the dark choc. was in the fridge and I was so hungry. I guess it was a bit of emotional eating too since I was upset about my knee and not being able to do my routine. Also I still haven't lost any more weight and I have been discouraged about that too. Okay any ideas for exercise that will not involve moving my knees?

It's okay to take a break from exercise for a few days so you can heal. You could do some upper body exercise with light weights if you need to. Just take care of yourself and when you can get back to the exercise. You might have to watch what you are eating a little more, but you will be fine. Good luck!
