MPSARGE's Journal, 11 February 2015

Today is the "WORST" day of my life. I went to doctor's about my CT Scan. I was informed I have 2 stable cyst on both kidney's. That is the good news. Now the "BAD" news. There is a third spot on my one kidney and it has been diagnosed as "Kidney Cancer". So now they are going to run many more test to get an in depth diagnosis of the spot. Such as it's depth, exact size, what stage it's at and so on. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, but to keep me in their prayers. God has a reason for everything & everyone. I know he is there for me & my family always. I'm grateful for everything he has provided to us and continue to praise him. So I ask all my FS buddies and dieter's to just pray for my family...Thank you all & GOD BLESS!!!

So very sorry to hear your news, Sarge. "Life" happens, doesn't it??? and sometimes it really stinks in the way it unfolds. I commend your faith and your positive slanted post, even in the middle of the "worst day of your life." Please know, I will always try to be respectful, and courteous, and I will always try to walk "gently" around anyone's pain, including yours. However, I will NOT ignore your pain, but support U in it AND pray for God's will to be done, even as I admit there are sooo many things about life I do not and will never understand. To your "things happen for a reason". I would softly whisper "amen" and think of Romans 8:28...Prayers and Sincere Best Wishes to you and ALL of your family, Sir...Take Care and Keep Believing !!!!!

I'll be keeping you in my prayers for sure. Keep up faith and hope, I know the "C" word is scary. Praying for the test results too, and for healing.

Prayers will be in the thousands. My prayer chain is activated. I'd like to add that Kidney "C" is nothing to slow and methodical with. Please tell the Dr.'s to take that kidney out. No partials, if it is "C" then take it out. I lost my Dad with the slow and steady exams and tests. When they did do surgery they took out half and thought the margins were clear. 8 weeks later they took the rest of his kidney. 2 years later the Kidney "C" had spread. This is an aggressive "C". Don't you be otherwise. Save your own life, with God's guidance.

You have my prayers. My sister (79) has beat lung cancer 3 times, has an active life. Because of God's mercy I believe in Prayer combined with aggressive treatment.

May our Heavenly Father heal you and give you strength. You are in my prayers. My mother lived with one kidney almost her entire life. MD said when you have one functioning kidney that it handles the load of two. I agree with the JeanieMO above that having the entire kidney removed would seem like the best option. I definitely would get more than one medical opinion too.

Until they do a biopsy, it can be "consistent" with, but not necessarily, cancer. If they haven't done that yet, don't make that leap. If they have, just keep breathing. We gotcha covered either way. Our hearts are with you.
