mars2kids's Journal, 09 February 2015

After a weekend full of eating I still feel full today. We went and saw my dad at the rehab facility over the weekend and that was nice. We were able to go to a Lego exhibit and indoor garden with him (the facility transports him) and then went for lunch to a buffet close to the facility to eat. I really didn't eat too much, but then I had 2 pieces of cake. I was so full when we got home that evening that I didn't eat much else.

Sunday we celebrated my niece's 1st birthday with lunch made by my soon to be SIL at her bakery. She made delicious food and again I didn't feel like I ate a ton, but what I did eat wasn't good for me. So now today I'm still feeling the bloat of the salty, sugary foods from the weekend. Luckily we walked quite a bit through the gardens on Saturday and I got a 45 min workout in on Sunday, so hopefully not too much damage was done.

Today is work, then parent teacher conferences for both my kids, so I don't think I'll be getting my workout in this evening. Tomorrow though I shouldn't have any excuse not to get a workout done. Now, if I can keep my eating clean this week too, hopefully this bloat and just general yucky feeling will go away.

I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Hang in there - life happens all around us, doesn't it? It is about choices...we all struggle sometimes. Are you feeling better lately?

I have good and bad days HCB. I'm starting to keep a journal of how I feel every day, that way I can look back at my food entries and compare with how I was feeling that day. Hopefully I'll find some correlation between the two or at least maybe see a pattern with when I feel good and when I feel bad.

Journal is a great idea - especially if it may be food related. I did not feel bad; but eliminated all grains and dairy bout six weeks ago. I feel so much better - no achy joints, bloating, or sluggish feelings. You never know how things work.
