I have been on the Atkins diet for 16 days with little result. I was ready to give up and someone on the Atkins website directed me to this site. This site makes it easy to locate and log all the foods eaten. I am hopeful that this will be a good tool to get me on track. Here I go!

Hey Happy, Welcome! I will send you a buddy request when I am done typing! I know you're probably used to what they say on the Atkins site, but over here we have found that eating the Atkins BARS creates problems for a LOT of people. Try to limit your shakes to an inbetween snack item (not meant as a meal replacement), and limit to a couple of times a week. The BARS however have artificial ingredients and sugar alcohols that mess up people's systems. They stall out a TON of people. Some can use them sparingly and do ok, very few can eat them regularly and get away with it. Not sure if that is why you are not seeing much result. But you may just want to eliminate them all together for a good couple of weeks, and see if it makes a difference.

Welcome, I agree with what Paula has wrote above! I can eat them about once a week and get away with it but any more than that the scale monster will give me the two finger sauté! Friend request sent!

Thanks for the responses. I absolutely love the Atkins bars. Figures doesn't it. I guess I will put them away until the weight is gone. I guess a little exercise wouldn't hurt either. So lets all get the pounds off!
