Less carbs and less calories will drain your energy level. When I was only having 1200 calories/day i would take a nap. I take a lot of hot showers every day for the pain I experience in my shoulder/back and that also relaxes me. Sometimes instead of eating I sleep for a few hours.

You should try supplement with vitamins. B-complex is for energy, Vitamin C is very good for women's metabolism and energy and I take chromium picolinate as well for energy and metabolism. And make sure if you are doing low carb, that you are doing lots of veggies and fruit. Raw is the best, low calorie, high fiber, and natural energy boosters. Good luck.

If you are feeling that bad, then most likely you aren't eating enough to fuel your body. When you go under 1200 a day, your body cannot get the nutrients it needs. If you have a lot of weight to lose, it's better to start high with calories and cut them as you lose weight. Food is fuel for the body. Less isn't always more with weight loss. A diet needs to be sustainable for the long haul. It's better to have slower weight loss, but feel good.
