I believe one of the worst things in life is disappointing your parents. At least it is for me. My Mom and I were engaged in conversation and I shared my weight from the doctor's office (fully clothed) of 250.6 and that I wasn't overly concerned with it, because I knew that wasn't right. Shortly after that, she commented "That's the most you've ever weighed, isn't it." I told her to my knowledge it was. But you know, we're working out and eating healthier, so I know it's temporary. She was quiet after that. The disappointment guilt had arrived and remains with me.

For a while I thought it was due to us not working out. Now that we're working out pretty consistently, I think it's the food. We're doing the Advocare 24 day challenge, and I've already fallen off the wagon. I eat even when I'm not hungry. I eat when I want. And though I eat healthy for the most part, I have my moments of binge eating...refer back to the cookies - should have made only one, made 6 and ate all six. 900 calories total. What in the world????? Sabotage the efforts.

I changed my RDI back to Sedentary -- let's face it, though my brain seems to be getting a hard core workout daily...my butt is sitting the majority of the day. I sit on a ball at the office, heated seats in the car, sofa at home. No matter that I workout 6 days a week for an hour or so, this is not going to change my diamond shape. I've started flirting with our elliptical again. Next step is to plug it in....looking forward to some time in the outdoors in the form of hiking....
