Finally worked up the nerve to see where I stand in the weight department. It was a little less than I anticipated actually. Not sure what else to say as this whole mess leaves me feeling overwhelmed. I know how to make it to my fitness goals in terms of reasonable/ healthful eating habits, I just do not know how to make ME do those steps.
162.5 lb Lost so far: 9.5 lb.    Still to go: 32.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 1.1 lb a week

MrsTofu, just sharing what made me stick to my journey. The Ortho doc my GP sent me to told me I would probably have a knee replacement within 2 years unless I lost weight and exercised. I was in constant pain. Find a goal that you need to accomplish for yourself besides just losing weight. Something that getting to your weight and fitness goals might accomplish My goals were twofold, no surgery and to stop the pain..I had no guarantees but I had to try, it has worked so far.
