I haven't had pop (soda) and I haven't had junk food since 1/5/15 and I gained 3 pounds, very frustrating to gain weight when you are trying to behave. I need to not be hungry. It is stress but that is my life so I am doing 2 protein shakes and a meal for this week to see if it helps my hunger. I was walking at work last week but my heel started hurting and went to the gym Saturday and it was worse, my husband said it is my Achilles. Geez, I wish I was I Dream of Jeannie and could wiggle my nose and lose 66 pounds. I feel like crap and I know it is all of the above. Ugh!!!!!
226.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Share Bare, try eating every 3-4 hours, small nutritionally balance meals. This will help balance your blood sugar and perhaps keep the cravings away.

If you are doing Atkins, they say not to let yourself get hungry. Eat a piece of string cheese or a tablespoon of almond butter. (or celery sticks with peanut butter on it). It's good to have low carb snacks around to help you out. Lots of "sugar free" snacks and shakes will cause a stall or weight gain. The artificial sweeteners really aren't good for you either. I have used Stevia in liquid ... and just little drops in water with a squeezed lime is my favorite drink now. Beats soda. Good luck!
