Boot camp last night almost killed me!
I expected to find a group of generous proportioned people with similar goals and it would end up like the end of the biggest looser in one session, not so. I was the only generous sized person there, the bulk of the people going are using as training for Iron man and Iron Maori, machines there are for the most part machines, we did a warm up I thought was the workout followed by a 2.4km (1.5mile) run on concrete, my poor poor joints, I thought I had done amazing time 23minutes but everyone was waiting for me and it took all my stubborn not to cry at every turn and then almost lost it at the end.
This was followed by push ups for one minute to failure then burpees the same. They had to cut the programe as we had run out of time and couldn't finish it, no one said it but it was because I took so long on the run.
Well I can only get better you would hope, today is day one of the primal challange that goes with boot camp, on the bright side Im so heavy that I should do really well lol Right I have dragons to slay xx

Those other people in the group shouldn't be upset. They should be understanding and supportive. Helping you achieve your goals would be something I would see as a group challenge. Remind all those in your group that any sport, including exercise is a team effort!! Good Luck and keep motivated!!

Thanks you are all very kind, I am hoping by tomorrow I will be able to move without wincing just in time for my next session. I just found out I was soposed to get measurements and a "porn" (underwear) photo done last week, Im not sure how i feel about this, I may choose to not partissipate, regerdless of size I don't like the idea of people having pictures of me in my underwear, not to mention I will have to find some undies that dont have holes lol

Do what you can and recognize that you are doing a challenge that most people wouldn't try. Your body will envolve as you continue with the workouts

It sounds like you did very well at the boot camp!!! I wouldn't worry about the other people in the group: if they don't understand that exercise plays an important part in weight loss well, fine go ahead and prove them wrong!!!
