Just found out that my son has been taken off the heart transplant waiting list. They will try to regulate his meds so he can be discharged. He failed to tell them that he is an alcoholic. I've accepted that I may lose him but, I understand that there are other patients that would give anything for another chance. Wow. Now it's just a waiting game. What a shame. Thank you for your support.

I'm so sorry to hear that, SW. Yes, it makes sense to give it to someone who has a better chance of surviving. I hate to put it that way. We know this in our heads but not in our hearts. Someone has to die to make it possible. We have to respect that too. Sometimes it just sucks.
