I just bought a scale last week because I was dieting for 6 weeks and realized that not only was I not losing wieght, I was gaining weight. I was so frustrated. I was expending about 3000 calories a day and eating about 1500, and still gaining weight! So, I bought a scale. Something I usually refuse to do. I have this idea that it is not about how much I weigh, but more how I look. BUt, I lost 1.2 pounds this week, and the numbers are keeping me motivated to continue to diet!
