I feel terrible. I've been doing so good and now I just ruined it by eating a 1 cup measuring cup of Cheetos's. Geez I hate it when I let my snack cravings get the best of me. :(

Rather than view it as failure... see it as it is .. an unhealthy snack. After all... if it would have been the I don't care, snacking me... half that bag would be gone!!!! (and not just one measuring cup)!!!

don`t beat yourself up, we all relaspe at times, if I do I put in an extra time hard fast walking on the treadmill, that usually takes away my guilt :))

It happens to us all. The important thing is to get back on track and put it behind you. Just remember how it made you feel and then the next time you'll be motivated to grab some healthy fat like a nice piece of bacon :)

This is the story of my life. My excuse is that I exercise so that I can eat what I want...but I know I would be much better off if I showed some constraint and didn't eat everything that I want to eat.

I know how you feel here Green.. I cheat all the time... but not lately :) I just got so tired of feeling bad after wards..stock up on plenty of safe foods ,, my weakness is chips and cookies.. So i make kale chips or green bean chips.. and Ive asked my husband to hide the sweets,, its extreme but I cant eat a cookie if I cant find it. hehe.. just like every one said here.. hang in there, it happens to ALL of us.. no one is perfect.. just jump back on the wagon and move forward.. I like what sundayjim said, just add in some more steps to burn it off. :) and remember we are all here for support !!

I bought Oreos last night for my children. I put them in bags of 3 for them, trying to teach them that foods should not be off limits, just moderation. NOW FOR ME THEY ARE OFF LIMITS. My task is to know they are in the pantry and not touch them. My convo with myself... "Do you want a COOKIE or do you want to fit in those black dress pants???" I WILL NOT TOUCH THEM. Not worth it.

Aren't you suppossed to give yourself a treat once in a while? Make that your treat for the entire month. It's all in the math.

One cup of Cheetos isn't going to make or break you. It takes 3500 extra calories (on top of what your body burns/day) to put on one pound of fat. That's a lot of extra food over a long period of time. The Cheetos may not have helped you, but they certainly didn't hurt you either. Try to let go of that all or nothing mentality, it will ruin you every time.

Think of Oreos as POISON! Because they are!

Don't feel bad, the whole thing is when you craze something have a little not a lot that is eating in the real world

My problem right now is that any indulgence could be a slippery slope. It is total avoidance until I get my head and my body back in the game. I agree though, OREOs are POISON! Especially dunked in a cold glass of milk, yum! Although I get enough sweet taste in my protein shakes right now and an occasional diet soda.

You did NOT ruin everything!! I had a fudgesicle last night, and I am participating in the no junk for 21 days challenge. I have a major weakness for chocolate and it has gotten me a couple times. Just keep riding the horse. One slip up, or even a few, won't derail you! You got this. :)

Moderation is the key. Sometimes we have to have these guilty pleasures so that we don't completely binge. Enjoy the fact that you had your Cheetos and the next snack make it a healthy one. Its easy to beat ourselves up about not having a "good" snack but we are human and we have to have a little bit of everything.

I went full stupid last night. Ate my way through 2 boxes of mac n cheese with a pack of hotdogs cut into it. That said for the last week I've been following my diet to the letter so I still lost weight last night. Your cup of cheetos is far less shameful than my face stuffing adventure from last night. Keep up what you're doing. Once in a while everyone strays a little bit.

Wow I say hats off to you, there is no way I could stop after just 1 cup of cheetos. I have to eat the whole bag

I want to tell you all something you will not believe. A few years back, when I weighed 260+; I would absolutely and positively eat: not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 !! YES FOUR whole large grocery store sized bags of puffed Cheetos ALMOST EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS OR MORE. Washed down with a six pack of Red Dog beer. This was of-course on top of everything else I was eating. I swear, I can't hardly believe it myself. I was and still am; totally convinced that they are orange dusted with a very addicting chemical powder of some sort. Should be spelled CHEAT os. I took me a very long time to make a conscious effort to escape from their grasp...
