Well that small time of shine is over for now. I started gaining again yesterday. I am up 1.4 pounds. I just don't understand it at all. I tried to do just as well over the weekend but I guess I didn't do as well as I had thought. I just have to work extra hard to get back down again. I am taking the kids swimming today and hopefully get to lay out a little. My legs don't have much color and next weekend is Father's Day. I have a lot of color to get and not much time. I don't know it is silly but if we are going to get a tan the girls in my family compare at Father's Day so we think you have to have it by then. I have to get my tire fixed before we do anything. I do not want to be stranded. My tires are only 3 months old and this is the second tire I have had to take in and get fixed. If we drove on dirt and gravel roads where you can't see what your running over I would understand a lot easier, but the roads we drive on are all paved. Anyways back to the diet stuff.

On the Diet Side
I am making a pot of coffee now, and I will probably have a small bowl of frosted mini wheats for breakfast. I am heating up chicken strips, ranch style beans, and carrots for lunch. I haven't a clue what to do for dinner yet.

Burn Baby Burn
I hope calories are the only thing burning today. I am taking the kids to the city pool today and I am hoping to get some sun but only a tan. I have a little shopping to get done today before Father's Day, but I know what I am getting so hopefully in and out is all it will take. I am wanting to go to the park today and do some walking while the kids are playing. It is still slow and easy but I have to do something. I can't stand to just sit and gain. I am going to muck out Leah's stall this morning so that will be some high calorie burning for me to start me day off. I will enter my exercise tonight after I know exactly how much and what I did today.

Hi! I am on Weight Watchers too - one thing that I notice about your diet calendar is that you don't record many green vegetables. If you add broccoli, lettuce, spinach, peas, and other green vegetables to your meals, you will get more fiber, more vitamins, and add bulk. I too have a slow loss rate, but I figured out that I eat too much - pure and simple, I take in more calories than I burn, and I don't trust the activity calorie counter here! No way am I burning the number of calories they say, or else I would be losing up to 2 pounds a week. Which I am not. Good luck with your tan!
