It's A New Year--and I know that every year come January everyone jumps on the weight loss/fitness train only to get derailed by the Super Bowl, or Valentines day or the chocolate bowl at work. This year I'm not going to jump into anything drastic. I'm going to try and make better choices. I'm going to make the effort to take a salad for lunch a few days a week and to not eat the cookies in the kitchen at work. But I'm not going to get down on myself if I grab a piece of chocolate from the candy bowl.

For me this journey is about more than just my weight. For me, a big part of my weight issue is due to being lazy. If I just took the extra 20 minutes at night to pack my lunch and snacks, or took the time on Sunday to plan meals for the week I would save myself a ton of money and calories.

So my goal for 2015 is to get off the lazy train--to get organized in all aspects of my life. I want my daughter to learn good habits as she grows up and to not take the easy way out by grabbing McDonald's for dinner. I want to be a good example to her in all aspects of her life especially when it comes to her health.
202.0 lb Lost so far: 20.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
