Yesterday was a good day. Food plan went well, had my 2nd cup of coffee and lots of water. Even swept the front porch and part of the driveway for 10 minutes before it rained. Today I'll need to hit the grocery store, I'll be out of eggs and really need some broccoli to round out my food supply. It's so weird when you crave veggies, isn't it?

Tomorrow is a day off work and Friday my boss is off so it's almost like a day off ;) It'll be a low key day to bring me into the weekend and gear up for a full-on next week.

Also getting my finances curbed again now that the roof has been replaced. Not un-doable but tighter than I like it. $6k for a roof and $3K for a car for my son (then an unexpected $2300 for a new transmission for that car!) puts me at the top end of comfortable. So paying off the loan for roof (which was 0% until September :) ) will be the first goal besides building my emergency fund back up. Gotta protect me to protect those I love. If I go down, I can't help them.

Have a great day!

Thanks LWBB. I definitely don't take it for granted. I'm missing my broccoli lol. And I'm grateful to be in a position to be a safety net for my family. It wasn't always this way. And bought me a house for my birthday and a new roof for Christmas (it was done 12/23!).
