9,117 steps yesterday. Went to bed early, I worked all day and was suddenly really tired. No plans so followed my body telling me to rest, I think it confused my dogs. I don't remember eating, maybe I forgot to, will pay attention today and eat.

Progress made on my spare room/office and some on my kitchen organization. Getting them organized will make it easier to move things to paint both rooms in the near future and make me happy to get rid of the clutter. All the grains, beans, herbs and spices will eventually all be in labeled containers instead of the hodge-podge of bags and boxes they are in now.
That will save time and money, took a couple items off of my stock up list yesterday as I discovered I already had them. I will need more containers.

Frig isn't cleaned out yet, that has to be today. Also my whole house needs a de-cluttering, dusting, and floors swept. So busy day today just cleaning. Beans are cooked for making 2 chilies for next Saturday, will pop them in the freezer until I cook on Thursday. Need to run to the store for fruit, I just have some oranges left and one apple.

I know what you mean. I am also trying to de-clutter my house.

You are my inspiration! We have a spare room that has become the catch-all room and now it's hard to walk in there. My office filing system has gone amok. I have files and papers everywhere except the filing cabinet. One room at a time. We can do this. :)

Mom2boxers, mine was the same way. My bedroom had also turned into piles of paper, with no home to put them in. I need to get the paper clutter under control. I have a place for tax docs that will be arriving and a start on what to do for the next year's records. It's part of my journey to a healthier me, both mentally and physically. Today both rooms look ok. I still need to paint, go through the stashed boxes of paper. Now at least I have a place to file those papers or get rid of them. I bought some organizer shelving and file boxes from Ikea, they are making me happy with my spare room. Might need a couple more boxes eventually. I gave an old maple desk to my daughter (good furniture but too bulky and heavy for my little 8x10 room), and stuck everything in boxes earlier in the year. At least I can open the door now and not be embarrassed, it's clean and neat. A few rooms better today, the finished basement and part of the kitchen still cluttered, will continue over the week. Tired crashed on the couch at the moment.
