Instantcrazy's Journal, 22 December 2014

I'm having a really stressful day to the point that my brain is trying to push my eyeballs out of my face. I really wanted to just buy a dozen chocolate covered donuts, and then considered asking the Salvation Army bell ringer I was sharing a foyer with if I promised not to kill him would he stop ringing the bell. Fortunately for me I'm broke, so no donuts, and fortunately for the bell ringer I feel really guilty when I swat at flies in my house, so he's gonna live to ring another day. Ready to go home and hide under the covers, but I have about 3 more hours to work.

Home base and safe! Which is good because I went through a dark yellow light and the first car to turn left on the green light was a sheriff. He obviously heard about some crazy lady threatening a bell ringer because he flew past me. Whew! and to all a goodnight!

What i like to do is have a "cheat day" once a week, not a cheat meal, a cheat day, because if you keep dieting non-stop you body wants to go into "starvation mode" which is were your body just hordes calories (good or bad calories) and wont use them for any thing and your body just stores it. This will also leave you with not as much energy. So what you do is... literally... go out and buy those doughnuts and eat them all (one day of this wont hurt you). but keep mind you should stay close to your maximum calorie intake for that day, but eat whatever you want. this tells your body that you are not starving. but don't take my word for it, go do some research on it.

I second what Kimberly Rae wrote. Sorry for your challenges, but your stories are awesome.
