Not sure why I'm losing wt so quickly. Have been skipping lunches and have been exercising more vigorously.

Probably because you are skipping lunches and exercising more vigorously, lol! Less caloric intake and and exercise that is more intense burns calories more quickly. So that will add up to weight loss.
