HI,
I REALLY DID THE DUMMY... i went to the movies and out for dinner and i consumed about 2800 calories today. is there any advice for wednesday? how can i continue to lose 2 pounds for this week if i went over my 1200 daily calorie intake? Any advice?

Sometimes having one "up" day can jump start your metabolism and help you lose more. But eating out has a lot of sodium, so drink plenty of water and get in some exercise. You might be pleseantly surprised.

You could also up your protein for a couple of days and try to stick with fruits and veggies instead of any type of processed typed foods. Good luck!

First off 1200 is to low.. You should go a little higher and go less and less as you diet.. Thats what i did.. Cold turkey is hard.. And look at the items that you're choosing..

I like Suzi161's comment about being pleasantly surprised and Jayjaycakez's reminder about cold turkeys and I think one more probably wouldn't hurt either. You got to remind yourself how much you like you. Now I know this may seem strange but someone convinced me to do it and it works. The next time you look in the mirror remind yourself how much you like you. If nothing else, it should make you giggle a little and isn't that a nice thing to do to yourself. At first, I thought the guy who suggested this was nuts but you know what? I learned not to take myself too seriously anymore, especially if I can't smile at my foibles...:)
