VeggieJunkie's Journal, 25 November 2014

Good evening everyone!

Today was the big Thanksgiving luncheon at the office, and I was pretty good. I only had green beans, a small portion of broccoli rice casserole, and a side salad for lunch. I DID have a slice of the pecan pie that one of my friends made I have no intention of never having treats, but do set limits and always look forward to getting back on track after the holidays :)

I still haven't been able to go to Curves, and really don't expect to until Sarges stitches come out. It's just too hectic right now, so workout DVD's at home will have to do.

Have a great night!

Occasional treats are good. It's funny how just a little bit is enough. I had a small piece of pumpkin yesterday and am sure will have something at my daughters tomorrow as the grandsons love to make desserts. Gramma of course has to have some of what the grandkids make.

Buffy101-Pecan pie is very addictive, but thankfully a little goes a long way. You should try it at least once :)

WFN, you are so right. You definitely need to have some of what your grandkids make :) I feel semi- successful because I had a treat but stayed in my RDI. I did drink lots of water after the dessert...think maybe I'm getting used to not having a lot of sugar in my diet...
