Mission FIND DRESS complete! They key to my success - embrace a new style. It's hard to explain, but my body shape is totally different. My boobs were always an issue, popping out of every low cut dress. My butt was square, hips non-existent, and legs not so pretty to look at. In the past, I was looking for floor length, empire waisted, halter top dresses with shawls to cover the fatty arms. When I started to try on dresses that have fitted waists, short sleeves, and a little bit of a neck line... wow. I brought home TWO dresses! One could be dressed with a belt and jacket for a fancy work day (interviews, presentations, etc...)
It was a good day. AND the early Black Friday sales saved me a ton of money! Two dresses for $80! Love it.
On another note - I punched out another 2.85 miles on the treadmill today. I still have to push pretty hard to get those last 5 minutes. I'm sure that in a few weeks, 3 miles will be old news! I'm thinking that I need to make a plan to work on my next trouble spot - pushups. I loathe pushups. I used to loathe running... I'm convinced I don't like it because I'm not good at it. So - another personal challenge is brewing... what's a good goal?
