Happy with how I ate yesterday. Told myself no when I woke up at 2 a.m. with a grumbly belly. This morning was the first in probably 6 months that I haven't had coffee and a bagel with butter. Instead I brought low-fat yogurt and granola from home which I ate at 7 a.m., then went home on my hour break at 9 and made a smoothie and had some whole wheat toast. I feel good about these choices. I feel positive about my diet today.

My homemade smoothie recipe for the day - a homemade version of Smoothie King's chocolate Elvis.

1/3 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1 banana
3 Tablespoons Quik syrup (no sugar added version)
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
3 ice cubes

Delish.

Great to hear about your choices. What is the calorie content on your smoothie??

The smoothie was 500 calories, 18 grams of fat, 18 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber. Definitely not a dessert but a full meal.
