Eighth week done
Yet again a week with major water retaining problems alternating dehydration. This can be blamed on my exercises followed each by 30' sauna. However all in all, I am pleased with my achievement. This week I'll have 3 runs on Mon, Wed and Friday. I also have scheduled 2 tennis games. If I have some steam left I'll do a fat burning run on Saturday. This should be a long lasting 2h run on very low HR: 130-140. That way calories burned are mostly using fat. The fat burning "mode" in a session starts after 30'.
I have to mention my failed experiment to start eating nuts. I had an appetite for nuts, apple and lemon. I considered the nuts and the lemon less harmful for the Atkins. Well, I was wrong. My carbs jumped over the limit before I realized. My personal opinion is to stay away of the nuts in the ignition phase. Lemon though, I still plan to eat. The carb content is rather low and I have to please myself with something...

Watch out with almonds, cashews, etc. --- Eat in very limited quantities if you want to lose. They are very, very high in calories. They are constipating too, so try eating spinach around the same time. I lost weight on low carb Atkins the best by also limiting calories. One's appetite goes after a short while if one is strict enough and getting less calories becomes easier and easier. I want to lose 25 lbs. by May 2015. I know I can do it, I did it before.
