Great job on the weight loss you've managed up to this point! Losing aobut 35 lbs is a great achievement, and I hope you're able to maintain that, in lieu of your brother's misfortune. At least there's something good that came out of it if you can continue to change your life for the better, and perhaps you can get your brother on board with you as well. :)

Good luck! High blood pressure is definitely very scary. I have it as well and it took over 7 different medications before they found one that corrected the blood pressure without causing too much harm (like lowering my potassium to dangerously low levels). FS is a great supportive community so you came to the right place! :)

I'm sure that your brother is very proud of you & your weight loss:) no doubt you feel pretty great about it too! By joining us here you have surrounded yourself with people who are at every stage imaginable.
