Counting Calories. I did find I lost weight eating no carb...but would be eating bacon cheeseburgers with no bun...that can't really be good. I have always found that if I journal food I make better choices. I avoid sugar and fat, etc. I eat almost anything I want, and I go below their RDI (which is ridiculously High, right now I go for 2300c a day). I do meticulously measure everything. I have an excellent reasonably priced digital kitchen scale. But I eat fast food when I must. It's all about choices and portions. You choose better when you know you're limited, a big salad is more satisfying than 1 piece of southern fried chicken (in the long run anyway, in the moment the chicken may win, but an hour later you're sorry) I just started giving a s**t again, but I'm down 16 pounds in under a month. Next I start exercising...I said I had to drop the first 20, take just a little stress off my heart first.
